What We Do

There has never been a more exciting and challenging time in healthcare. CHI Health is your community partner, passionately caring for all patients, including the uninsured and underinsured, with excellence in healthcare delivery using the latest diagnostic and procedural technologies.

But the landscape ahead is changing as we face oncoming challenges. Like all healthcare systems around the country and even across the globe, we are experiencing financial restraints due to the fact that we are caring for more people, while expenses are up and reimbursements are stagnant. We are not immune to what is happening across the country, yet our ministry stands firmly committed to serve the most vulnerable in our communities regardless of these challenges.

Now, more than ever, we are counting on the generosity of our community partners to invest in our mission-based healthcare ministry. Last fiscal year alone, CHI Health gave $265 million back to our communities. That's millions in financial assistance to patients, plus support for services and programs to improve community health, financial and in-kind contributions to partnering organizations, research and much more.

There are so many ways to support the life-saving, healing work that our caregivers are providing to those we serve, day-in and day-out. No gift is ever too small. As you know, each of our foundations at CHI Health has projects and programs on the horizon to expand and improve our hospitals and clinics and the services we offer. I encourage you to reach out to the campus of your choice to learn more about the strategic initiatives and the important role you can play in seeing them to fruition.

With you and our generous supporters, together, the future is bright for us all.
