Giving Opportunities
The St. Francis Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created to support the work of St. Francis, whose mission is to encourage a healthy community by providing health education programs, informational services, and quality medical care without regard to race, religion, age, sex, or ability to pay. The purpose of the foundation is to seek, acquire, and manage funds contributed from public and private sources to support those programs and projects determined to be in accord with the mission of St. Francis. Such programs or services may be administered by St. Francis’s own medical or administrative professionals, or in collaboration with other local community agencies of compatible purpose.

Current Initiatives
Annual Campaign
Together We Shine is the CHI Health St. Francis Foundation's annual campaign that allows us to Serve, Heal, Inspire, Nurture, and Enrich the lives of others. When you donate to Together We Shine, 100% of your donation will help serve the unmet needs of our patients, CHI Health St. Francis employees, and the community. You can decide where you want your gift to go. You are a light for others. Donate to Together We Shine today and let's shine even brighter together!

General Donations

Child Safety
Child Safety offers innovative programs aimed at reducing preventable injuries in children. Donating to this fund helps raise child safety seat awareness, and education is offered to parents, grandparents, daycare providers, and more.

Emergency Relief
We are in this together!  You can make a difference today and support your nurses, physicians, caregivers and staff by donating to our Emergency Relief fund to provide necessary resources for healthcare professionals at this critical moment. Gifts of any size will make a positive impact in our community.

Employee Stewardship (emergency assistance for employees)
Provides emergency financial assistance to help employees in times of need. You can help St. Francis employees by donating to the Employee Stewardship fund.

Nursing Scholarships for Continuing Education
St. Francis Foundation and nursing administration continue to partner in the nurse scholarship program.  In conjuction with the Tuition Reimbursement program, donating to this fund will help St. Francis provide a number of schoarships for nurses who want to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, or a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree.

Project Serenity
Donations to this fund are used to provide adult victims of sexual assault, human trafficking, domestic or intimate partner violence an exclusive safe place to receive immediate comprehensive and compassionate care, as well as evidence collection from our FNE (forensic nurse examiner) teams.

Project Care (patient assistance)
Project Care is a financial assistance program that helps low-income patients or their families meet expenses resulting from their medical care, and aren't paid for by other sources. Donations to this fund, administered through our Care Management or other departments, pay for indirect medical needs such as prescription assistance for someone who has no other way to buy medications, purchasing over-the-counter medical supplies and equipment, hotel accommodations to be close to a loved one who is a patient, and many other ways.
