St. Elizabeth's Lights of Love appeal graphicConnecting parents, by high quality camera resolution and voice, with their tiny infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - what a heartfelt kindness you can show to families in stressful times when they are separated from their newborn.

This year, our Lights of Love donations will be used for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The first priority will be Angel Eye, to connect parents who are unable to stay at the hospital due to work and other obligations. The baby can hear the parents comforting voice with a special speaker system, which can help promote bonding. They can communicate in real-time while viewing the baby at any time of the day. The parents can also receive updates via video messages from physicians and clinical staff. Additional monies beyond the Angel Eye purchase will be used to secure incubators.

We are more powerful when we empower each other

The Lights of Love trees are a long-time Christmas tradition at St. Elizabeth. It is an opportunity to honor family, friends, coworkers, and loved ones by hanging silver stars with the honored individuals' names on Christmas trees lining the corridor into the hospital. Each star represents a donation to the Lights of Love designated program of the year. Of course, there is always an opportunity to select other programs you are passionate about within the hospital.
