2026 ANNUAL APPEAL FUNDS

CHI HEALTH CLINICS
Capital Excellence: Funds will be used to support improvement projects, capital improvements or other capital clinic priorities. Ultrasound machines and hearing machines at CHI Health clinics are the types of patient-centric projects that donor support can help move forward at our clinics.

CHI HEALTH FOUNDATION
Faith, Hope, & Love: The purpose of Faith, Hope & Love is to provide emergency financial assistance to your fellow workers during times of need. Funded exclusively by employee contributions, this fund is administered by CHI Health to current employees who meet the criteria.

Forensic Nurse Examiner Program: The program seeks to reduce the physical and psychological trauma of sexual assault, human trafficking and domestic violence through sensitive and timely medical examinations performed by specially trained nurse examiners.

Sister McAuley Support: Donations to this fund will provide grief support resources to patients and their families who experience the loss of a baby during pregnancy, at birth or shortly after birth. It will also be used to provision end-of-life comfort carts that have supportive reading materials, music, and light refreshments for families so they do not have to leave their loved one’s bedside.

LASTING HOPE RECOVERY CENTER
Capital Excellence: Funds will be used to support improvement projects, capital improvements or other capital hospital priorities. Music system and secured access points are the types of patient-centric projects that donor support can hep move forward at our hospital..

TANZANIA MINISTRY
Scholarships: Your gift will help with the cost of tuition, room and board. A full scholarship is $1,700.

Houses for Health: Your gift helps with the cost of building a small basic, dry safe house. The cost to build a house is $3,400.

CUMC-BERGAN MERCY
Capital Excellence: Funds are used to support improvement projects, capital improvements or other capital hospital priorities. Slush machines, ultrasound machines at CUMC-Bergan Mercy are the types of patient-centric projects that donor support can help move forward at  our hospital.

Nursing Excellence: Funds are used for professional development, clinical practice, and research and innovation at CUMC-BM. The center develops management and leadership succession programs and nurse recruitment and retention strategies. The center also provides infrastructure and support to advance nursing education, career development and research.

Patient Assistance: Funds benefit patients treated at CUMC-Bergan Mercy by providing assistance for prescription medications, transportation, and other health related needs for patients who qualify.

Renewed Hope Boutique: Funds provide vital assistance for cancer patients who are uninsured or underinsured allowing them access to prosthetics, wigs, head covering, and other needed supplies - allowing them to focus on their recovery.

IMMANUEL

Behavioral Health: Funds support the Behavioral Health department at Immanuel.

Capital Excellence: Funds will be used to support improvement projects, capital improvements or other capital hospital priorities. Incubators and C-Arms at Immanuel are the types of patient-centric projects that donor support can help move forward at our hospital.

Patient Assistance: Funds benefit patients treated at Immanuel by providing assistance for prescription medications, transportation, and other health related needs for patients who qualify.

Professional Development: Funds will support staff education and training.

LAKESIDE

Capital Excellence: Funds will be used to support improvement projects, capital improvements or other capital hospital priorities. Infant hearing machines and cardiac monitors at Lakeside are the types of patient-centric projects that donor support can help move forward at our hospital.

Patient Assistance: Funds benefit patients treated at Lakeside by providing assistance for prescription medications, transportation, and other health related needs for patients who qualify.

Professional Development: Funds will support staff education and training.

Women and Children: Funds will support the women’s and children’s department at Lakeside.

MERCY COUNCIL BLUFFS
Capital Excellence: Funds will be used to support improvement projects, capital improvements or other capital hospital priorities. Digital monitors and treadmills at Mercy are the types of patient-centric projects that donor support can help move forward at our hospital.

Denise McNitt Women's Empowerment Scholarship: Funds provide financial assistance to women who may not have the means to help themselves overcome obstacles that stand in the way of their success; whether it is covering the costs of daycare, transportation, or other expenses hindering their career advancement.

Patient Assistance: Funds benefit patients treated at Mercy Council Bluffs by providing assistance for prescription medications, transportation, and other health related needs for patients who qualify.

Professional Development: Funds will support staff education and training.

Threads Project: Funds will be used to purchase new, hygienically safe items in a full range of sizes, ensuring we always have what's needed for every patient, every time. Your contribution directly translates into warmth, comfort, and a small but significant sense of peace for someone in our care. This program will ensure that patients who arrive at our facility in soiled, damaged, or destroyed clothing leave with dignity, comfort, and a fresh start.

MIDLANDS
3-D Mammography Unit: Funds will be used to purchase a 3-D Mammography Unit and support vital breast health services at CHI Health Midlands.
