Denise McNitt's 44 years of service in nursing has exemplified her commitment to caring for others and breaking down obstacles that hinder progress. This scholarship seeks to honor Denise's career-long commitment to uplifting women who may face obstacles in taking their careers to the next level.

This scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to women who may not have the means to help themselves overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of their success. Recipients of this scholarship will have the freedom to allocate funds towards addressing any barriers that stand in the way of their success. Whether it's covering the costs of daycare, transportation, or other expenses hindering their career advancement, this scholarship is designed to provide support where it's needed most.
