The CUMC-Bergan Mercy state-of-the-art procedural simulation center will meet the needs of our staff, students, and community, and is inspired by faith, driven by innovation, and powered by our humanity. Procedural simulation allows the members of our medical staff and residents to learn and refine procedures in a safe and effective manner. Procedures available for simulation include: endoscopy and ERCP, bronchoscopy, laproscopic and robotic assisted surgery, emergency procedures, central IV access, ultrasound guided procedures, VATS, PALS, ACLS and ATLS, team based training, critical and difficult converstions/disclosure, postpartum hemorrhage drills, advanced GYN surgery, ureteroscopy, angiography, and invasive cardiology procedures, just to name a few.
